Lauren practices Chinese Medicine and offers herbal medicine as well as acupuncture. 

As a practitioner, she is dedicated to disease prevention and she uses a holistic approach to help others achieve optimal health and well-being.

She believes that many of the health issues we see today can be attributed to living in an environment that is toxic and stressful. 

By focusing on the connection between the mind and the body, we can achieve harmony and well-being and correct any imbalances.

Acupuncture

In acupuncture, stagnant energy or Qi is released in the body. If energy flows freely, there will be no illness or disease.

Acupuncture shouldn't hurt; however, there may be a sensation. This is called de qi which means that the acupuncture point has been activated.

When performed by a trained professional, acupuncture is very safe. Their clinic uses only high-quality, single-use sterile needles. 

Acupuncture with acupressure is included in all consultations along with a prescription for Chinese herbal medicine if needed.

Chinese herbal medicine

The Chinese herbs their clinic uses are TGA-approved and have been tested for heavy metals and pesticides. 

Chinese herbs, powders and pills are available. Herbs used are vegetarian/vegan friendly and not from endangered species.

Initial consultation 

• Adult, 60 minutes - $120
• Child, 45 minutes - $85

Subsequent consultation 

• Adult, 45 minutes - $95
• Child, 30 minutes - $70

Cupping only

• 30 minutes - $55

Herbal medicine

• Approximately $30 per week

Private health insurance rebates are available on the spot through HICAPS.

Discounts are offered to pensioners, full-time students and health care cardholders.
