ABOUT

My name is Shantelle and I am the face behind La Santè Remedial Massage and Beauty Therapy.

I have a Diploma in Remedial Massage, Level 1 Sports Trainers Certificate and I am a qualified Beauty Therapist. 

As a beauty therapist I look to use my knowledge and understanding of the muscles in my facial treatments. The end result includes softening of deep lines, assistance with circulation, glowing skin, improvement of texture, plumpness of the skin and helping to relax the facial muscles. 

As a massage therapist, I  have worked with an AFLW football team and a local women’s basketball team. 

I also like to incorporate different techniques in my treatments such as trigger point therapy, cupping, sports massage, strengthening and stretching exercises, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, relaxation and client assessment. ​

I continue to develop my skills by ongoing training in both beauty and massage.

During your treatment, we use manual technique to realign the body. Through a process of muscle manipulation and assessment, remedial massage stimulates healing by increasing blood flow to injured soft tissues, assisting with scar tissue breakdown, and encouraging lymphatic drainage of swelling and waste products which allows the body to heal it self and unifies the whole body. Massage in tense areas helps return your body to maintain optimum health.

A variety of massage techniques may be used during your treatment such as trigger point therapy, stretching, manual lymphatic drainage and myofascial release.
