Built on family-based values and over thirty years of industry experience, the practice caters for all levels of rehabilitation, from everyday through to elite sports.

We specialise in the spine and central nervous system as well as musculoskeletal conditions of the entire body. In addition, we have a strong interest in sports and sports related injuries in their prevention, management and rehabilitation.

Stephen established Kingsford Chiropractic Clinic over 30 years ago and has continued to build the clinic since.

Amongst other awards, Stephen received the Chiropractor’s Association of Australia’s ‘Chiropractor of the Year (NSW branch)’ in 2006. He has co-authored 3 university manuals and is a co-author in the self-published book ‘Spinal Adjustment Technique, The Chiropractic Art’ currently used as the text at Macquarie University. 

He is now the contracted chiropractor for Sydney Football Club (Sydney FC) and continues to teach at Macquarie University whilst treating privately at Kingsford Chiropractic Clinic

ROSEMARY GIURIATO

Rosemary has been a clinician for over 30 years, previously practicing in her own clinic in Leichhardt, NSW.

She is a part-owner of Kingsford Chiropractic Clinic, meanwhile workingin the academic field of Chiropractic Care. She is currently the Head of the Chiropractic program at Macquarie University and also serves as the Chiropractic Department’s Director of Clinics.

DIRK CRAFFORD

Dirk has experience in treating a wide range of injuries and has a keen interest in sports related injuries, low back and neck pain. He believes in an individualised approach to manage pain, accelerate recovery, restore movement and improve function. 

He has a strong hands on approach to treatment with a focus on restoring function with manual adjustments, supplemented by soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation exercises.

He is passionate about helping patients and is excited to serve the local community.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH FUND, MEDICARE PLANS, AND DVA PLANS?

Yes!

We are HICAPS capable. This means we can swipe your Private Health Fund card and claim on the spot. You just pay the gap!

We also accept Medicare plans which are provided to you by your family doctor or GP; and are providers under the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Treatment program, and can treat those eligible under this scheme.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY CHIRO VISIT?

It is not required but if you have any of the following, bring them along to your appointment:​

• Any X-Rays or Scans relevant to your pain or discomfort


• A doctor's referral letter if provided


• Your Private Health Fund card


• Pension card, if applicable

NOTE: Scans and X-Rays, and Referrals are not required for treatment at Kingsford Chiropractic

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

As a new patient, there will be a form to fill out before your appointment.

You will then sit with the Chiropractor to discuss your condition and answer some questions about your medical health. This is a good time to show your Chiropractor any X-Rays or Scans.

Your Chiropractor will then conduct an assessment on the areas discussed and begin the treatment accordingly.

You can expect your first appointment to take roughly 30mins.

I HAVE A WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIM. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

For any patients (new or existing) who are visiting us under a Compulsory Third Party (CTP) or Worker's Compensation Claim, there are a few things we will need from you!

​We will need the details of the Insurance company your claim is handled by, the case managers name and phone number, and any other important details they may have provided you​.

It is helpful to have this information handy when you come in for your first visit after your injury. However if this is not possible, please discuss with the receptionist what your next steps will be.
