About us
As the clinic owner and practitioner I have been working with Natural Therapies since 1991, with Massage since 1994, have specialised with Lymphoedema Treatment in 2003 and have established the clinic in 2008.
I am a Musculoskeletal Practitioner and I practice many forms of massage such as Relaxation, Remedial, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Therapy, Trigger Points Therapy, Exercise Therapy and more. I individualize each treatment to address your specific complaint such as headache, neck, shoulders and lower backs, arthritis, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression and any complaint you may present with.
As a post graduate in Complex Lymphatic Therapy, I practice lymphatic drainage massage for wellness and especially for the treatment of lymphoedema. I also bandage for severe swelling, I take measurements, supply and also fit Medical Compression Garments.
It is a One Stop Clinic for the treatment of lymphoedema.
Lymphatic drainage massage is recognised under Remedial Massage with Private Health Funds as well as Medical Compression Garments (stockings, armsleeves etc.) when they are justified with a referral letter from your doctor.
About Relaxation Massage
A relaxation massage relaxes the nervous system, which controls all other systems in the body such as the muscular, urinary, respiratory, digestive, and endocrine (hormones) systems.
It is a wonderful therapy for any chronic medical condition such as high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression and many others
A relaxation massage also helps in preparing the tissue for a deeper remedial work.
About Our Massage
Our massage always involves relaxation to overcome tissue resistance and to adhere to the principle of working from superficial to deep before carrying out specific remedial work on the area of complaint. To tell you which technique is more important than the other is quite difficult as their aims are specific so they are incorporated in the massage as they are required.
