Hummingbird Eco-Retreat and Conference Centre stands in the stunning Red Hill hinterland, and is one of the first retreats of its kind in the area, combining the best of eco-friendly design and technologies with old-fashioned country hospitality.
Hummingbird Eco-Retreat's value system is founded on healthy living, the community, connection to the land and sustainability, and we lead by example, believing that successful business goes hand-in-hand with a harmonious lifestyle.
Owner, Scott Davies' business acumen is no longer confined to the boardroom and he believes a balanced approach to corporate success is the way of the future.
CULTURE
Hummingbird Eco-Retreat rests upon the traditional land of the Boon Wurrung people and has strong and respectful connections to Country and the Boon Wurrung Foundation.
Storytime, guest speakers and other cultural events are held on the Hummingbird Retreat's grounds.
We are very grateful and privileged to have been given blessings from BoonWurrung Elder, Aunty Carolyn Briggs.

THE ENVIRONMENT
Experience the humbling feeling of being surrounded by ancient Manna Gums and Blackwood Trees, listen to the Kookaburra and King Parrot's calls and see the tiny finches rustling in the undergrowth. Towering tree ferns, native grasses, mosses, lillies and orchids and two rare plants: the Silk Pod and Austral Mulberry are also found in the area.
Hummingbird Eco-Retreat is located on 76 acres of National Trust bushland which includes The Endeavour Fern Gully. The gully is of historic and scientific significance and a huge range of plants and animals make their homes there. The land has links to the original landowners, the Bunerong people.
One of the last remnants of damp forest habitats on the Mornington Peninsula, the area is a seed bank crucial for the future re-vegetation of the area, which the Hummingbird Eco-Retreat is committed to.
Hummingbird Eco-Retreat gives guests direct access to The Endeavour Fern Gully as part of a range of retreat packages and business conference activities.
If you and your family or team would like to experience the beauty and wonder of this ancient land and book a conference or holiday at Hummingbird Eco-retreat, call us or click on the 'Make an Enquiry' button below to be in touch with us.
