My special interests include Autism and ADHD, Alzheimer’s, Cognitive Impairment, Digestive Disorders and Food Intolerances, mood disorders such as Anxiety and Depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, CIRS, IBS, Mould Toxicity, Fibromyalgia, PMS, PCOS and the role oxalates, yeasts, parasites, bacteria, moulds, heavy metals and genetics commonly play in these disorders.
As a Naturopath and Nutritionist, I work with clients to establish ‘workable’ nutritional and supplement protocols based on their personal and family circumstances, lifestyle and presenting conditions. While a certain dietary protocol may be ideal, it is important to work out what is ‘workable’. The workable is more likely to be adhered to, with impressive results.
In formulating an individualised program for each client, I draw from several gut and neurological health protocols, auto-immune protocols and low-inflammatory protocols. These include, however are not limited to, GAPSTM created by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD, ReCODE developed by Neurologist Dale Breseden (Prof. of Neurology) and Mould and Biotoxin protocols developed by Neal Nathan MD.
Testing I commonly use include Great Plains Organic Acids Test and MycoTox Testing, Shoemaker’s VCS Test, Dutch Hormone Testing, Mediscan’s Hair Mineral Analysis, genetic testing and stool testing. The testing allows for targeted nutritional protocols and supplements. It allows me to formulate a step by step plan to systematically address the underlying issues driving the symptom picture. Additionally, some testing may be recommended through your General Practitioner and available through Medicare.
