Focus areas
The oldest form of medicine on our planet, herbal preparations, are derived exclusively from plants and prepared with both the benefit of the experience passed down from generation to generation, coupled with the enormous body of scientific research now available in this field.
Herbal medicine is the forerunner of modern drug medicine and still many chemical drugs are based on compounds found in plants. Herbalists prefer the crude plant form of a medicine instead of pure chemicals refined from plants.
Herbalists believe that the biological complexity of humans is ideally matched by treatment with remedies of biological complexity - plants!. Herbal medicine is suited to treating chronic disorders such as arthritis, asthma, skin conditions, digestive problems, period pain, premenstrual tension, excessive disordered menstruation and menopause symptoms. It is also very effective in improving the functioning of the immune system.
