Iris strives to inspire, challenge, and empower, sharing the life-enhancing effects that yoga has to offer – a strong, flexible, stable body; a quiet, focused mind and a compassionate heart.
She considers her main strengths as a yoga and meditation teacher to be her nurturing style, sincere caring for the health and wellbeing of each student, and a desire to positively influence others’ lives the way that yoga has enriched hers. Iris’ classes combine music, yoga philosophy, yoga postures, breath control, mindfulness, deep relaxation and meditation.
Iris has over 25 years of practical yoga experience and is as passionate about learning as she is about teaching. She has attained teaching qualifications in advanced yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, kundalini yoga and meditation.
Iris is also a professional artist, vegan and animal rights advocate, as well as a keen argentine tango dancer.

Livestream Hatha Yoga: Tuesday, 6.30pm
1 hour class incorporating pranayama breath work, meditation, philosophy, yoga postures (asanas) and relaxation
Livestream Yin Yoga: Sunday, 10am
1 hour class combining traditional Chinese medicine meridian theory with yoga postures to target connective tissue and to still the mind.
Yoga in the Park: Saturday 9:15am
What could be more relaxing and rejuvenating than connecting with nature, as this 75-minute park class provides? We can connect with Mother Earth by practising yoga in the park. Practising breathwork and asanas in the shade of the gum trees, among the birds, and in the fresh air is a wonderful and enriching experience!
