What is Life Coaching?
Professional Life Coaching is about assisting a client to get from where they are now to where they want to be. Although a client may hire a coach for a specific issue, like finding a new career, the process is designed to help the person review the whole of their life. A coach helps the client clarify goals, develop behaviours and attitudes to achieve those goals, assist in time management and setting priorities, while all the time keeping their life in balance.

What is NLP?
Simply explained NLP is the art and science of creating excellence. It was derived from studying how top people in different fields obtained outstanding results. NLP helps us understand why we do what we do. It can enable us to make better choices about our behavior and emotions, help enhance our communication skills, improve our relationships and lead us to a new, more successful way of living.
The letters NLP stand for Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro - How we think and the way we use our senses of sight, hearing, feeling, taste and smell to represent the world around us.
Linguistic - How we communicate.
Programming - Our behaviour patterns and emotions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many sessions of coaching will I need?
This depends on the individual. To achieve lasting change, I usually specify a minimum of six sessions.
How long does a session take?
The initial consultation is 90 minutes and usually 45 minutes thereafter. However some clients may prefer longer sessions due to travel distance etc.
How often do we meet?
Usually weekly or fortnightly for the first six sessions. It may then progress to monthly depending on your needs.
Can I receive coaching by phone or Skype?
Yes, most definitely. With busy lives and schedules, this can prove to be a very practical option.
