Australian Bush Flower Essences®

The natural Australian Bush Flower Essences (ABFE), are used as support to help you bring positve change to your life, to restore your emotional health and well-being.

The Flower Essences are used to help manage issues such as confidence, anxiety, stress, fear, grief, fatigue, trauma, adjusting to parenthood, post partum stress, carer needs and symptoms of menopause. Australian Bush Flower Essences can be used by the whole family and are used today across the globe. 

The 68 Australian Bush Flower Essences have been developed in Australia by Naturopath Ian White, a 5th generation herbalist. 

A consultation session helps clarify your current, key emotional issues and determine which essence(s) are best for you at this time.

A personalised mix of Australian Bush Flower Essences is then prepared for you. Up to 6 or 7 essences can be mixed together. The Flower Essences are liquid, placed into a glass, dropper bottle. These drops are taken daily, usually placed under the tongue or in a glass of water.

Bach Flower Remedies

The natural Bach Flower Remedies help support you during times of emotional strain and imbalance to help restore harmony in your life.

Emotional issues can be many and varied from impatience, feeling overwhelmed, apathy, stress, shock, loneliness, uncertainty, shock, grief, lack of confidence, coping with a new baby, and/or coping with a new job.        

Bach Rescue Remedy and Bach Rescue Pastilles are sold at many supermarkets and pharmacies, easily identified by their bright yellow box or tin. Have you seen them? Rescue Remedy is used at times of stress, anxiety, shock or trauma hence it is often referred to as the crisis or emergency essence. It is a mix of 5 Bach Flower Remedies. 

Discovered in the 1920s by Dr. Edward Bach, a highly successful London Harley Street specialist, the Bach Flower Essences are prepared from 38 plants, mainly flowers.

The Bach Flower Essences are easy to use, suitable for all age groups and used globally today.

Numerology

What’s in a number? It seems quite a lot!

Use numbers to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your connections with others. Let them tell story for you, of you.

It sounds simple. It is! What is needed? Basically your name and birth date.

Numerology is based on single digit numbers 1 – 9.

Discover your ruling number, your day number and your birth chart. (Please note a birth chart is not the physical details of your actual birth just the numbers of your birth date: day, month and year).

Reiki

I’ve not heard of Reiki so how do I know if it will help me?  

Reiki (pronounced Ray-kee), is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on ‘healing’ technique that may be easily fitted into today’s busy lifestyle to re-energise, de-stress and relax. Reiki originated in Japan, discovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the 1900s and is the flow of spiritual, universal life energy (Rei – universal and Ki – life energy), transferred through a practitioner’s hands to you, the client.

The practitioner’s hands are placed just above, or, very lightly on the client’s body. This gentle process helps to ease anguish, stress, aches and pains, fears, recovery for injury, release emotional blockages and aid the flow of energy through the body which leads to relaxation, a general feeling of wellbeing, balance and harmony to benefit the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of each individual.  

Reiki is not massage and no oils are used on the client.

Reiki does not require the removal of clothing and is usually practiced with the client laying on a massage table or sitting on a chair. 

You only need to remove your coat and shoes!

Distance/ Absent Reiki

It is possible to receive “distance healing,” for people unable to attend a face to face Reiki session. This may be because the person lives in another country, another town, is without transport or has other commitments.  

Reiki works with energy that is unaffected by space and time so it is possible for a Reiki practitioner to give Reiki to a person they cannot meet face-to face.

A connection is made between the practitioner and the receiver usually by giving the name of the person, their location, a photo and the “healing intention.” The person to receive the Distance Reiki can be sitting in a quiet space at the time agreed for the Distance Reiki. However, if busy, or out and about at the time the Distance Reiki occurs, the “Reiki effect” will still occur as a connection has already been made between the practitioner and receiver.         

Allow yourself time to experience a Reiki session even if for only 30 minutes. You will feel:

• more relaxed, 
• calm, 
• less stressed, 
• energised 
• more in harmony with your life. 

Just as we are each an individual, so is each person’s experience of Reiki.

Holistic Counselling

Holistic counselling provides a peaceful, non-judgmental and confidential time to focus on you: the mind, body and spirit. 

Allow yourself the time and space to address the challenges of your everyday lifestyle; your physical, emotional and mental well-being as you move forward on your life’s journey.

Sandplay Therapy

A gentle, creative approach used to help you work through personal and emotional issues such as stress, anxiety, feelings of ovewhelm, difficulty expressing yourself, guilt, frustration, grief, loss and trauma. You do not need to be a creative person. The actual handling of sand is soothing and healing for many people.   

Sandtrays are usually rectangular with a blue base and sides and contain clean, light coloured sand. You move the sand to shapes as you wish. The sand may be made into peaks, made flat or pushed to one side with the blue base revealed to ressemble water. A collection of assorted, everyday minature objects are locted close to the Sand tray such as plastic animals, plants, cars, leaves, shells and stones. You select the items you wish to use and place them in the sand wherever you wish. A few or many items may be used. 

Time is then spent reflecting on what you have created: what it represents to you and how you feel. Feelings may be different from the beginning of the session to how you feel by the end of the session. You may like to take a photo of your creation.
