About Robert Santich
Rob Santich is an experienced health practitioner having been in continual practice for 24 years. His speciality is herbal medicine and whole food nutrition without the use of excessive supplementation.
Rob is considered an expert in herbal medicine and lectures at the University of New England in Armidale, NSW and also in the USA. Thus Rob's abilities span both clinical practice and academic involvement. Rob is a traditional herbalist with the experience and ability to manufacture a wide range of products from herbal extracts and Australian native essential oils to expertly blend individually prepared creams and ointments
These skills have resulted in Rob producing an educational DVD detailing the methods used to manufacture a wide range of herbal preparations. The DVD is a standard educational tool in all the naturopathic colleges in Australia.
Although Rob is a general herbal practitioner, he has a special interest in the treatment of children, having four of his own aged from 26 years to 9 years. He has recently launched a textbook on the Herbal treatment of children that he co-authored with Associate Professor Kerry Bone, an internationally recognised herbalist and author.
Rob has a heartfelt passion for traditional healing methods and ceremonies and has studied with both Australian Aboriginal and Lakota healers. He regularly visits the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota USA to do ceremony and study the many medicinal plants growing there.
