Australian Naturopath Maurice Blackmore pioneered Mineral Celloid therapy as a way to maintain health in the 1930's.
Mineral Celloids have their foundation in tissue salt therapy, which was a system of health care developed by German physician Dr. W H Schuessler and popular in Europe during the 1930's. Blackmore's goal was to build on and improve Schuessler's system by introducing active material and increasing the rate of absorption, enabling better and faster outcomes.
There are a variety of reasons a person can become mineral deficient including: poor diet, heavy metal toxicity, consuming food grown in deficient soils, sporting activities, or fluctuations due to the different phases of life - puberty, childbirth, old age.
