Hello and Welcome!

A meticulously trained and highly skilled practitioner, Helen brings an exceptional acuity to her practice of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. She blends acupuncture with personalized guidance on medicinal herbs, diet and lifestyle specifically tailored to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances. Helen has successfully treated a wide variety of common and perplexing health problems including all types of musculo-skeletal pain and the full spectrum of stress-related disorders including:
  • back, neck & shoulder pain
  • sporting & occupational injuries
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • headaches
  • insomnia
  • and digestive disturbances.

She also specialises in sustaining women’s health and wellbeing during pregnancy, childbirth, and IVF, menopause, complementary care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment, and unraveling the causes of chronic illness.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy

Gentle and deeply relaxing, CranioSacral Therapy involves light manipulation of the craniosacral areas to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. This stimulates the body’s natural healing processes, bolsters resistance to disease, and alleviates a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction. This method has proven especially beneficial for those with chronic symptoms, stress-related dysfunctions, and a variety of sensory disorders. However, many healthy individuals simply enjoy the profoundly calming and rejuvenating effect and the advantage CranioSacral Therapy offers as a preventative health measure.

Helen augments these treatment approaches with an uncanny intuition that allows her to penetrate directly to the source of an imbalance. Using subtle movement and soothing but precise touch in troubled zones, she is able to amplify the effectiveness of a given modality and thus accelerate the healing process. Helen is highly regarded as a brilliant healer who brings a lighthearted yet sensible spirit to her practice.

Helen received her diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the College of Natural Therapies, NSW and has completed post-graduate training in China, Korea, and the United States. In China, her internship was under the guidance of Lou Bai Chen, one of the country’s greatest physicians and scholars, and her training in CranioSacral Therapy took place at the groundbreaking Upledger Institute. Helen actively participates in continuing education seminars on topics like nutrition, homotoxicology, Chi Nei Tsang (Chinese organ massage), qi gong, body-mind disciplines, meditation, and counseling. She is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and The Australian Association of Homotoxicology.
