What is Reiki? 

Hi, I’m Clare, and I’d like to greet you to Reiki’s power. I have been fascinated with holistic solutions my entire life and my faith in healing has come to be very natural in a soothing and focused manner. 

In 2008, when my daughter was born, I began to explore Reiki when I took my initial Usui Reiki Level 1 training. I followed this with tuning and practice at Usui Reiki Level 2 from 2009 until my son was born in 2010. I've been employed since then as a Reiki practitioner.

Reiki (or Ray-Key)is a device of natural healing and includes hand-laying. The Buddhist monks of Tibet were thought to first utilise this technique, and over 100 years ago Mikao Usui re-invented the process and called it “The Usui System of Reiki”. 

This could be an exceptionally basic but capable form of healing that can be easily supplied and embraced by everyone. 

Reiki is a holistic cure that heals your mind, body and spirit at every level.

I work to inform my patients on a daily basis and empower them to live their way and make their lives more beneficial.

What to expect from your session?

All are unique, so every person's experience is unique. Reiki is a non-invasive treatment that works with medicines from west and east. In most cases, you feel the least relaxed and peaceful after receiving this treatment.

In order to identify areas that I think may need a cure, I will perform a body scan before the session starts. You will lay on a massage table during my session (if it's not convenient then you may use a chair). You are covered in full in a Reiki session and the treatment is the laying of hands on your various parts of the body using the seven chakra points. 

I may also be appealing to certain parts of your body naturally. I will then switch onto the back of your body after your front is complete.

It is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after the session to keep you hydrated enough for your body to heal.
