The first thing we will do when you visit us is determine what is out of balance and then guide you into restoring the balance.

Have you ever noticed that your symptoms are worse when you are tired? Or when you have been under increased and prolonged stress? Perhaps they are worse after a long days work or even in some cases after exercise. Has your sleep become erratic? Is your digestion playing up?

Who are Healing Traditions?

Healing Traditions is Mooroolbark's longest running Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy Clinic. Formed in 1990 by a husband and wife team and continuously serving the local community since.

Traditional Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy are complex and demanding medical systems. We at Healing Traditions believe no individual can do justice to more than one system. So the founders Robyn and David each practice in a different modality.

David is the Chinese Medicine practitioner and Robyn is a Classical Homoeopath and also uses Homoeopathic Facial Analysis (HFA).

David holds a diploma of Acupuncture, Post Graduate diploma of Chinese herbal medicine and certificates in Oriental Massage and Advanced Clinical training. He has been in professional practice for over 27 years, is registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association.

Robyn has been in clinical practice for over twenty years since graduating from the Victorian College of Classical Homeopathy in 1994. Her studies included undertaking a course at the Bengal Allen Institute in India. Robyn has a background in education as a physical educator and has many years’ experience dealing with paediatric head injuries.  She also has thirty years’ experience as a swimming teacher special interest in teaching children with disabilities.  She is renowned for her skills in the Halliwick method.

Stay on your medicine.

When you are healthier discuss with your doctor your ongoing need for medications. It is not safe to withdraw medicines without medical supervision. Our aim is to safely improve your health without any risk

"Energetic Medicine" will still work very well without any interference or interaction between the two. Your body wants to adapt and become healthy – it just needs the right environment - which we can help you achieve.
