Therapeutic Touch is a wonderful therapy to use professionally and for self care, for family and friends. As a person centered ‘hands off’ approach to touch and energy based therapy, it is particularly suitable for counseling and psychotherapy practice.

Therapeutic Touch is an evidence based mindfulness related process which:

• promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety

Health Practitioners

A competency based and nationally accredited training course which offers:-

• an enhanced ability to use the mindfulness (centered) state in clinical practice

• a deeper understanding of the dynamics of intent in the therapeutic relationship

• further exploration of the power of empathy in practice

• an awareness of the bio-energetic flows in yourself and your client and how these may support therapy

• centering and grounding exercises which can be shared with clients

• therapist self care and personal/professional growth.

• Beginning skills in working directly with the human energy system and the *first step in the accredited competency based training as a Therapeutic Touch Practitioner.

Professional Development Points:

Therapeutic Touch has a fine tradition of use for family and friends. If you would like to learn this beautiful therapy but are not interested in the more formal approach you can undertake the program without the competency assessments.

About the Facilitator

Jane is a counsellor, psychotherapist, bio-energetic therapist and educator/facilitator who comes from a holistic and transpersonal perspective to support movement towards balance and growth. She uses a combination of emotion focused, person centered, and transpersonal and arts based approaches in her life, practice and teaching.

Jane is in private practice in Flemington. She teaches meditation and natural therapies and facilitates health and wellbeing seminars in the corporate sector. She is founding Director of Healing Dimensions.
