- Naturopathic treatment is intended to assist and stimulate the body’s own ability to heal itself. Naturopathy is both a system of natural medicine, and a way of life. Educating the client is a big part of the healing process.
Most clients are treated with herbal remedies, homeopathy, and Bach Flowers, with often amazing results. I also offer therapeutic massages for children..
The focus is on a holistic approach, looking at physical, environmental, emotional, spiritual and nutritional aspects of your life, supporting the body systems and promoting health.
About Alex Beck-Brandl
I am Alex Beck-Brandl, born in Switzerland, a New Zealander since 1995, and now a Brisbane resident.
I have a passion for natural health and I believe that too many people put up with ailments and conditions which could be healed.
I don't believe in suppressing symptoms or focusing on the disease; I believe in a holistic approach, taking in physical, environmental, emotional, spiritual and nutritional aspects of your life, supporting your body and promoting health.
I trained as a registered nurse (diploma from Swiss Red Cross 1986) and I have worked in acute patient care (A&E, operating theatre and ambulance) as a specialised anaesthetic nurse and advanced paramedic for over 10 years.
I am holding a Bachelor of Health Science in complementary medicine from Charles Sturt University (NSW) and diplomas in naturopathy and medical herbalism, both with Honours.
I look forward to being of service to the wider Brisbane community, improving people's health and raising awareness for healthy living and nutrition.
