We are an innovative and ever-changing personal training studio, utilising the latest in training equipment to maximise the most out of our clients. Leaving you inspired and wanting to come back for more.
We specialize in one on one and group sessions, with both options ensuring we offer exercise in a personalized, fun and motivating setting. Personal training is not a one size fits all approach, everyone is different and each person has a different need or goal. As trainers we understand that, and by working together in finding the best approach you’ll get the satisfaction of seeing the results sooner.
1 on 1 Personal Training
Whether you want to shed the fat, increase muscle, or improve your fitness, we focus on ensuring that we are achieving these goals and getting the results you deserve. Through constant supervision, guidance and motivation, we aim to get the most from you and your training. There’s no one size fits all approach, by offering a personalised service and working closely with our clients, we're ensuring your needs are met and getting the results fast.
Group Personal Training
With a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 in a class we’re ensuring that we still focus on the personalised aspect of your training. In these groups we utilize a range of innovative and functional exercises making your training fun and always keeping you on your toes. The group sessions always bring an action packed workout, making the most of every minute by challenging you and constantly keeping you guessing. The motivation from the atmosphere and sometimes the competition with other people or friends, will maximise the most out of your workouts.
Group Personal Training
Functional training: is a classification of exercise which involves training the body in movements that would replicate daily life or specific to a sport.
Functional training is focusing on targeting the core muscles of the abdomen and the lower back, creating core stability for sport or any other activities. Weight machines which target and isolate specific muscles are great but sometimes not necessarily mimic the actions of daily activities or a chosen sport. Functional training is all about being up on your feet, moving in different directions, and strengthening the core muscles to aid in making daily life activities easier and increase performance in sport. Functional training also leads to better muscular balance and joint stability; it can also decrease the risk of injury in sports.
Here at Go Functional Fitness, we like to utilize equipment such as bands, balls, rings, kettlebells, sledgehammers, heavy ropes, sleds, water filled training equipment, and plyometric boxes. With all that at hand it leaves an endless amount of opportunities to keep you guessing, on your toes and never tired and bored repeating the same routine.
Training Studio
Located in the bayside suburb of Birkdale the studio is run from the home in an air conditioned private setting. The studio is fully equipped with weight and cardio machines, free weights and the latest in functional equipment to cater the needs of individuals from the new to fitness to the athlete.
