My base training is in massage (10+ years) but I believe that I do much more body work then massaging. I focus on joint release and the ability to tie the entire body to sort out complicated pain patterns. Pre & post –events sports massage. Emphasizing on structural interrogation and the connection between areas of the body which can cause compensation patterns throughout the body.
I specialize in Remedial, Deep Tissue and Sports massage but if you just want a time out massage, I can do a firm relaxation massage.My main aim is to get you onto the road to recovery through a series of treatments. Then carry on with a maintenance programme if you wish. I can also recommend a whole food vitamin supplement regime.
With 10+ years’ experience and ongoing CPE training I stay on the cutting edge with treatments plans.
I have a natural ability to find and release knots, tight muscles and joints.
When requested massage can be tailored to suit your injuries or modesty, eg: (clients can be fully dressed if preferred)
After a 3-year full time study coarse in massage and yoga, I obtained a New Zealand Diploma in Complementary Therapy and Massage and a Certificate in Sport and Leisure. I have done further study to obtain My Australian Diploma in Massage.
I have worked for a physiotherapist, a senior provincial rugby side, junior swim team, mobile massage therapist and spa service that serviced 4 & 5 star Motels/Hotels, in the Brisbane Area.
