Gail Barnett - Reiki Master

Gail has a background in dental nursing, beauty therapy and massage and was drawn to learn Reiki in 1997. She was able to use this beautiful, non-intrusive energy in all these modalities.

She has many gifts to give to people from her wealth of knowledge and experience, including helping mothers in hospital delivering babies, working with cancer patients in hospital and with aged care in their final moments of life.

Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing. The word Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy and we are all born with this energy. In the late 1800s, Dr Mikao Usui had the experience of Reiki energy after many years of meditation, study and research.

Reiki treatment stands on its own as a healing practice and is also safely used to support orthodox and complementary medicine. It doesn't interfere with or diminish the intended effects of other health or medical practices; treatments are increasingly accepted in health and community care facilities including hospitals, hospices and cancer support units.
