As a holistic life coach, its my job to help people understand what things are going on in their body on a natural level. To allow people to explore the feeling of being pain free, healthy, enjoy great food that tastes good and is the medicine that your body needs.

To show people how to be one with themselves and nature, and to listen to their body’s so they can make sound judgements on why something is or isn’t going right.

Surfing Boot Camp

Are you getting ready to go away for a surf safari?

Are you preparing to go on a surf camp or safari? Make sure you are prepared for anything that the ocean has to offer.

We look at how to ensure that you are able to surf your best, and will have less chance of injury with the correct pre-trip workouts.

A passion of mine, surfing is also one of the fastest growing ‘everyday’ person sports in the world, everyone wants to learn to surf. There is a lot more involved in being able to surf and keep your body from being beaten up.

We take a close look at the sport itself, break it down into the movement patterns that are essential to be able to surf correctly. We then take those patterns and look at your profile, to see if you are mechanically able to perform them. Can you balance on one leg? can you bend over on 1 leg while pulling a cable? can you balance on a swiss ball? All of these exercises are just a few of the things that a surfer utilizes to enable their balancing profile to work correctly for them in the water.

I will take you through a group training session, or develop you one on one for what ever your surfing desires are.

Nutrition

This would have to be one of the most controversial topics in the life of a health and fitness professional. WHAT DIET IS BEST? WHAT FOODS ARE GOING TO MAKE ME BIG AND STRONG? WHY DO I FEEL TIRED AND ANGRY ALL THE TIME?

Before I explain to you how it is this topic is so controversial, I want you to look at the picture on the left. This is a simple picture of the autonomic nervous system and how it innovates into the spine, that means where the nerves come out of the spine and where they go. You can see quite clearly when you get down to the digestion area, that nerves come out of the spine an innovate into different organs of digestion. Quite simply put this means that food you eat, effects you on such a dramatic level, that you can have cronic back pain purely because you are eating something that is not right for your type.

These topics of food and emotions and feelings are scrutinised every single day on the internet, on the TV in the paper by so called professionals, anyone who wants to put their 2 cents worth in has something to say.

If you are a client of mine then you will know that I don’t use a “Diet” to get you on the right path of health. Although Metabolic Typing is named ‘The Metabolic Typing Diet’ I use this term dubiously. You see what Metabolic Typing does, is subjectively allows you as the client to eat foods that are specifically designed for your type.

It evolved through a correlation of the known scientific facts concerning the fundamental control systems, with the clinical observation and empirical experience of hundreds of practitioners, with over 60,000 cases over the last 25 years.

This metabolic typing app has been created for the use of the Diet Check Record system. It enables you input your food, and then an hour later input your reaction to that food. This is especially useful for people who have an MT advisor, and need to get specific details about their food and reactions to their MT advisor.
