Since then he has developed his knowledge and skills by working at The Wellington in Collingwood and being mentored by Steven Clavey at Apricot Grove Chinese Medicine Clinic.
As a Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist he is registered with AHPRA, and a is a member of the professional association, AACMA.
Involvement in competitive contact sport brought Giles to the acupuncturists treatment table where he found that Chinese medicine works. Training in martial arts and interest in Daoist philosophy led him to become a practitioner. This training was not started for altruistic reasons but it made him empathetic and sensitive. Now he is determined to use his skills to keep people healthy.
Giles practices taiqi chuan and aikijujutsu. He is the chief instructor at the Melbourne Aikijujutsu club.
