Founded by two strength & conditioning coaches and elite athletes, Formidable Strength and Conditioning is a boutique local company providing premium coaching services to its clients.

With a combined three decades’ experience in the health and fitness industry and backgrounds in exercise physiology, sports science, injury rehabilitation, and youth development, Head Coaches Simon and Ryan bring a unique and holistic approach to strength & conditioning with a proven track record of helping their clients exceed their goals.

The company’s unique and collaborative business model combined with its new location on Gilbert Fraser Reserve in North Fremantle enables Simon and Ryan to leverage their skill set off other like-minded individuals to provide their clients with complete and personalised programs where failure isn't an option.



Online Packages

Our online coaching service is best suited for those who are unable to train with us in person but still wish to utilise our coaches’ expert knowledge and programming.

Our state of the art Formidable Coaching App allows us to provide you with a detailed training plan where we can monitor your progress and continually update or adjust the training plan if required. We have many clients from all over Australia who receive the benefits of our expertise and are achieving great success through our online coaching services.

We have two levels of online coaching services available: PRO and BASIC. In order for us to provide you with the most suitable package, please complete our Formidable Self Assessment, which will give us an insight into your current lifestyle. We will then schedule a call or meeting in person to begin putting your package together.

Training

Training clients is our passion and at Formidable Strength & Conditioning, we provide a variety of premium training services which range from one on one training through to large team sessions. In all cases we use the same Formidable Methodology when preparing and executing our sessions with the individual or team.

Junior & Youth Fitness Club

One of the main reasons we chose to get in to the health and fitness industry was to have the opportunity to work with children and teenagers. We consider ourselves role models to these highly impressionable groups.

Our Head Coaches have years of experience between them working with a variety of youths, from young children with diabetes and learning difficulties to teenagers at the top of their chosen sport.

Our Fitness Club run in sync with each school term and, run both before and after school as well as Saturday mornings.

We are now offering school holiday Fitness Club!

Injury Rehab & Recovery

Part of our holistic approach to strength and conditioning includes injury rehabilitation (& prevention) and recovery.


  • Injury Rehabilitation


Head Coach Simon is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has extensive experience in specialised areas of exercise rehabilitation and injury prevention.

At Formidable Strength & Conditionin, our aim is to restore you to functional capacity at an absolute minimum but we aim to improve on your pre injury functional capacity levels. This applies to the general population who are looking to be pain free for every day life or an athlete looking to return to sport.


  • Recovery Protocols


Often the most neglected area of strength & conditioning is recovery! We are all guilty of it.
For us, recovery includes three main areas: physical, mental and nutrition.

We have put together some protocols that we will be sharing with our Formidable Community.
We are excited to add the Altitude Tent and Ice Baths to our recovery services in the aid of improving athlete performance.

Swim Clinics

Whether you are simply looking for some individual technique coaching sessions, seminars for a large group or something in between, we are able to accommodate your needs.

We have extensive experience in running swim clinics from a junior level through to a masters level and are frequently approached by State sporting associations and local clubs for our advice and expertise in this area.

With a combined 30 years experience between us in both competing and swimming coaching, we offer a knowledgeable, unique and highly sought after coaching service to a wide range of target audiences including swimming clubs, schools and triathlon clubs.
