Welcome to Nourish, Food for Healing
Michelle is a passionate nutritionist, foodie and mother; she is a firm believer that first-rate health can be gained through optimum nutrition. She spent 10 years working as a chef in some of Australia’s best restaurants and wanting to explore the power of healthy food choices, she completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine. Michelle is now a qualified nutritionist with a passion for coaching clients to make better food choices.
She is enjoys inspiring people to improve their eating habits and teaching them that healthy food can, and does taste great. Michelle is aware that everyone’s body is different and needs to be treated accordingly. She specialises in designing personal meal plans and addressing individual health conditions using nutrition and offering nutritional supplement advice.

Children’s Health - Michelle believes that children can be inspired and encouraged to eat good wholesome food from a young age. One of her aims is to educate families in the importance of good nutrition, so that parents and their children have a balanced approach to food.
Food Intolerance and Gastrointestinal Health - If you are experiencing bloating, excess wind, gas, abdominal discomfort, constipation or diarrhoea or have been diagnosed with IBS, there is a chance you have a food sensitivity or mal absorption issue that is the cause for your symptoms. I can help you work out which specific foods may be the problem and show you how to remove them from your diet without compromising your nutritional intake.
Nutrition for Pregnancy - If you are pregnant, or thinking about becoming pregnant, there are a number of dietary considerations you need to be aware of. Michelle will discuss all these with you and show you how to ensure your diet is optimal for the development of your unborn child and for yourself.
Insulin Resistance & High Cholesterol - Michelle can guide you on the best food choices for your condition and provide a diet plan to help bring you back to optimal health and reduce the risk of chronic disease.
Weight Loss - Michelle believes that the key to successful weight loss and ongoing health is related to establishing healthy eating habits. She doesn’t believe in fad diets that exclude important nutrients from the diet. Michelle will provide a personlised eating plan that caters for your individual constitution. Fat burning nutrients can also be provided to help with initial weight loss.
Anxiety, Depression & Fatigue - sub optimal nutrition can have a negative impact on neurotransmitter production. After completing an extensive interview Michelle will give dietary, nutritional and lifestyle advice to help you get back on track.
What to Expect at your Nutritional Consultation
Michelle’s unique background allows her to offer a closed loop approach to food coaching.
Michelle understands finding time for an appointment is not always easy. Michelle is happy to come to you for an appointment in the evening or the weekend.
Your first consultation will be a one hour plus in depth interview of your past and current health concerns and your particular health issues.
At a following consultation you will then presented with an individual eating plan tailored to your specific needs with recipes that are tasty and will be enjoyable for the whole family. Nutritional therapy will be recommended if indicated.
Michelle understands we do not all come from a cooking background. If needed she offers cooking lessons every two weeks where she is happy to pass on her cooking expertise.
First consultation is $70. Follow up appointments are $50.
Cooking Lessons
Cooking lessons are located at North Melbourne
Primary School. The address is 210 Errol St,
North Melbourne VIC 3051. ( Use the Murphy St entrance).
Classes are held every other Saturday afternoon beginning at 2.00pm
Classes are small so book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings are essential.
Please contact Michelle if you are interested in private lessons.
Classes are hands on so wear comfortable clothing.
After preparing the menu we all sit down to enjoy our meal with a glass of wine.
