Assisting clients to process unhealed wounds in a gentle, supportive and non-judgmental way. Using mindfulness and somatic awareness, we honour the innate capacity of the client to heal, grow and evolve.
We work with what arises in the present moment to uncover and access limiting experiences and beliefs which – once identified – can be explored, processed and transformed.
We do this using Hakomi Mindful Somatic Therapy which is a mindfulness-centred, body-oriented method that is both gentle and powerful. Together we explore automatic patterns and habitual responses that can make us feel stuck. These are often driven by deeply held core beliefs formed during early life.
We also work relationally, helping clients to explore limiting patterns that may emerge in the therapeutic relationship.

"Having experienced early childhood trauma myself, I know what it’s like to sit on the other side of the therapy room. I’ve done my own healing work, so I understand how challenging – and rewarding – it can be to undertake personal therapy." Jane Castle, Certified Hakomi Therapist and Co-founder, Evolve Psychotherapy.
Evolve Psychotherapy is based in Crows Nest, Glebe, Woolhara and on-line.
