Neck, shoulder, back- aches and pains. Rehabilitation from muscle strains

What is your philosophy or belief about natural healing, and the work you do?
My treatment is the first step to better health. I will Educate you on what’s taking place
Implement techniques to correct the dysfunction, provide you a strecching program for ongoing maintenance. Monitor and maintain treatments to ensure your body delivers you towards your goals in life- pain free

I like to provide client assist my clients beyond my treatment hours and provide them an ongoing stretching progam to further enhance the benefit of the remedial or sports massage.

What is the potential impact of not seeing you?
Your injury / pain will continue to get worse. Prevention is much better than cure however, getting things treated while still in the early stages is better for your body and pain reduction.

What would a normal treatment involve?
Deep Tissue / Remedial Massage, stretching, in some cases cupping to relieve pain and correct dysfunctional muscles. My treatment is solution based so whatever the needs of the client, I will endeavor to give them the treatment they need.

How many sessions will I need?
It all depends on your needs. I would as a general rule suggest an initial appointment, and then weekly follow ups for approx 2-4 weeks to get the problem under control and start the healing then up to you, monthly maintainance treatments are always a good bench mark to remain pain free.
If it is sports related I have clients that have been seeing me fortnightly for several years as part of the successful preperation with there sporting endeavours. I find it really rewarding to be a part of their sporting interest and enjoy discussing their goals and performances.

What are the main worries or concerns your clients have when they come to see you?
Pain of all types, mainly computer / office related pain back, neck, shoulders also sports injuries. Sometimes the treatment needs to be ‘lighter’ pressure due to the sensitivity of the injury, this can be done too – Massage does not have to hurt!
