YOGA CAN HELP

If you are you suffering from stiff or sore muscles, chronic back or neck pain, anxiety, stress or depression. Yoga can help you improve these health issues, as well as assisting with insomnia, asthma, fatigue, lack of focus and much more.

POWER OF YOGA

Lies in the traditions deep understanding of the mind, body relationship. The aim of traditional yoga is to restore health of body and peace of mind. You will learn a wide range of yoga practices that reflect the full scope of its healing tools. Yoga can teach you how to focus your mind to change your experience of physical pain. It can teach you how to transform feelings of sadness, frustration, fear and anger. It can teach you to listen to your body and take care of your needs so that you can participate in activities that matter to you. It can give you a sense of safety, control and courage that you need to move forward in your life to achieve your goals.

WHY I TOOK UP YOGA

In my early 50’s and being semi-retired, I decided maintaining my health should be my most important goal. I needed to stay active with something that would not stress my body, and also that I could continue doing for the rest of my life. Dru yoga was my choice. So I commenced a three year teacher training course, just for my own wellbeing. As I progressed and discovered the many benefits, not just physically, but emotionally and energetically, it also had a calming and clearing effect on my mind that reduced my stresses and anxieties greatly, I was just amazed. On completion of the training I felt compelled to share these techniques with other people, so that they could experience the benefits of dru yoga.

DRU YOGA IS FOR EVERYONE

I now work with many people of all ages who are wanting to rejuvenate there whole being, and let go of the stresses and pressures of modern day living, through graceful, soft flowing movements, controlled and directed breathing, visualization and relaxation. Dru yoga can be modified to suit all comers; some people even choose to do it sitting in a chair. Most people finish classes feeling relaxed in body and mind and many sleep better that night.
