Our practical and interactive presentations cover topics such as:

- Nutrition for weight loss
- Healthy eating for shift workers
- Diabetes management
- Childhood nutrition (available for childcare, kindergarten, primary school and high school)
Individual Consiltations
The first consultation will last for approximately 60 minutes, during which the dietitian will ask you questions about your medical history, dietary and exercise habits, cooking, shopping and lifestyle, as well as discuss your current health and dietary goals. We will also take your weight and some basic body measurements (if required), so we have baseline figures to guide your future goals. From this, we will develop personalised eating guidelines or a healthy eating plan (depending on client preference) that is practical and achievable. At the end of the consultation you will have a dietary plan to help achieve your lifestyle or medical goals that you can put into practice immediately. At this time, the dietitian will also discuss whether review consultations will be required.
Review visits will last for between 20 and 30 minutes and are usually between 1 – 4 weeks apart, depending on individual needs. Managing your eating and health usually involves ongoing care, therefore most people will benefit from more than one consultation. Your dietitian will discuss a management plan with you, including the number of reviews recommended. At review visits, the dietitian will monitor your progress, provide further education to help you achieve your goals and discuss any further changes you may need to make.
