What Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural process. It helps people to change their old way of thinking and being (the unwanted behaviour) to the positive way they would like to think and be now.
How Does It Work?
Hypnotherapy uses a natural state of relaxation where the client goes into a trance. When in trance a person is fully conscious though they have an integral focus of attention.
Each day we go in and out of trance numerous times, for example while day dreaming, reading a book, watching television or movies. In our everyday trance an imaginary world seems somewhat real in the sense, that it fully engages our emotions.
Imaginary events can cause fear, happiness or sadness, and you may even jolt in your seat if you are surprised by something (e.g. a scene from a scary movie).
With clinical hypnotherapy, once in trance and guided by your hypnotherapist, positive suggestions are made to help you overcome the problem that you want to change.
Session Information
- Clients can attend individual one-on-one sessions.
- Generally 3-4 sessions are required for most issues.
- Each session is specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of each client
