WHAT IS NATUROPATHY?
Naturopathy combines traditional medicines and treatments, with modern day science to help tease out what's truly effective and to enhance and refine remedies. These natural extracts are then combined into unique mixtures to meet the specific needs of each patient. Specific dietary changes can also be made, along with vitamin and mineral supplements to optimise health and wellbeing.
The supplements supplied by a naturopath are usually of much greater potency and improved bio availability than those found in most retail products. This alone with the practitioners training and specialised knowledge of interactions and contraindications allows very effective and targeted treatment.
With the right combination of dietary changes, supplements and natural medicines, Angela can work with her patients to optimise health and wellbeing, prevent many health disorders such as nausea, fatigue, insomnia, depression, anxiety, even hypertension and diabetes in pregnancy and later life.

WHAT HAPPENS AT MY VISIT?
In order to create an effective, tailored treatment plan Angela will need to spend adequate time with her patients to gain a deep and thorough understanding of their history and current issues. For this reason a visit to the naturopath is often longer than a standard medical consultation, and may in fact require a number of visits depending on the complexity of the patient and their health issues. In this way Angela builds up a holistic understanding of her clients at all levels: physical, emotional and even spiritually, and hence is able to treat the "whole person".
