Paediatric massage differs from adult massage. Working in conjunction with the parent or caregiver I design an individual treatment for each child incorporating their personal interests. Children are treated clothed and their permission sought and personal space respected. Where possible parents are instructed in techniques that they can use at home.
Paediatric massage is beneficial for all children including “well” children, those with special needs, children struggling with anxiety and those with life limiting illnesses.
