Services Offered
Japanese Acupuncture
Kiiko, a Japanese form of Acupuncture, is both gentle and powerful and helps bring balance and promote homoeostasis into the body.
The process involves stimulation of specific body points which balance the nervous and specific organ systems, restore balance and promote health.
Because of the small needles and absence of pain, this type of acupuncture is quite popular.
Depending on your goals and unique condition, treatments may take a few weeks to maintain the therapeutic effects of acupuncture.
Many people report immediate relaxation, followed by a subtle shift in their symptoms a few days later.
Cupping
This is another tool that promotes circulation, relaxes, reduces muscle tension, inflammation and promotes health.
Cupping results in light to dark areas on the skin, similar to bruising, but this disappears within a week.
Mobile cupping treatment is like a massage, whereby the cups are used to move the pressure along the meridians on the back.
Moxibustion
In moxibustion, moxa, a stick or cone made of mugwort leaves, is burned on or near the surface of the skin.
Moxibustion treatment is beneficial when combined with acupuncture, as the heat stimulates meridian and acupuncture points, which result in an improved Qi flow.
