Practitioner: Dr Sandra Buchanan

Chiropractic care is a gentle system of health that recognizes the primary function of the nervous system in controlling and maintaining the health of your body. If there is intereference to the normal flow if nerve information (subluxation), then there can be changes in the body such as inflammation, muscle spasm, pain, changes to normal organ function and other indicators of dis-ease.

So, Chiropractic care can assist with bringing your body back into better balance and getting your health back on track, naturally. Chiropractic recognises the body’s innate ability to heal itself so that treatment is focussed on removing the cause of the problem (subluxation).

Many conditions respond really well to chiropractic care. People consult a chiropractor for:
  • Wellness
  • Scoliosis
  • Postural Problems
  • Ergonomic advice
  • Headaches (including tension headache, migraine, cluster headaches)
  • Hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder complaints
  • Foot, ankle, knee and hip complaints
  • Pain: especially low back pain, middle back pain and neck pain

OSTEOPATHY SERVICES

Practitioner: Dr Daniella Zampierollo

Osteopathy is a gentle holistic manual medicine that enhances the body’s capabilities, by strengthening the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic system.I concentrated on the diagnoses and treatment of complaints involving the body’s muscles, particular how they relate to good body mechanics, function and posture

Osteopathy particularly focuses in the underlying cause of a problem. So a consideration of the whole body’s mechanics is very important to treat each person as individuals and holistically.

Osteopathic treatments will assist in:
  • Pain Reduction
  • Improve Healing Time
  • Injury Prevention
  • Improve Joint Mobility
  • Long Term Benefits
  • Strengthening & Stretching Programs
Prevention is better than cure and it is often easier for an Osteopath to treat underlying stresses and strains before they progress to more severe pain or dysfunction. Give us a call or visit the Website for more information.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Practitioner: Shanee Fleischer

Physiotherapy is a health care profession concerned with the assessment, maintenance, and restoration of the physical function and performance of the body. It is a distinct form of care which can help to provide a speedy and complication-free return to normal.

Physiotherapists are not only interested in the problem, but factors which contribute to the problem. Identifying factors such as poor posture, muscle imbalances, and poor work practices, allow interventions to be made to correct these factors. This will reduce the risk of the same thing happening again in the future.

Physiotherapists can help you get back to work or sport more quickly by providing rehabilitation programs and advice on how to prevent a recurrence of an injury

Physiotherapy can assist with a wide range of conditions including:
  • Headaches
  • Back and neck pain
  • Sports Injuries
  • Rehabilitation post orthopaedic surgery
  • Pelvic/back pain during pregnancy
  • Postural problems
  • Occupational injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Reduced mobility or balance
