Catherine has worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist since 2008, specialising in prenatal, postnatal, and baby massage since 2011.

She recognises that achieving total health and happiness frequently requires a multi-faceted strategy, which is why she works closely with other leading women’s health practitioners regularly.

Services Offered

Infant Massage

A relationship-based infant massage gives both mums and babies time and space to interact, communicate, and discover communication via touch. It gives you the confidence to read your babies’ cues and respond before they get overtired or the wind becomes unbearable.

Catherine teaches baby massage classes to parents who want to tap into the benefits of connecting and communicating with their babies.

Pregnancy Massage

Your body changes dramatically during pregnancy. Getting a pregnancy massage will help relieve physical pain and allow you to focus on the vital nesting (and relaxing!) job that lies ahead of you.

Catherine has expertise in treating a variety of pregnancy related ailments as a certified pregnancy massage therapist with a foundation in remedial massage.

Postnatal Massage

It’s both wonderful and tiring to have a new baby in the house. A Postnatal Massage will help ease neck discomfort from falling asleep in your feeding chair, as well as lower back strain from moving your baby from the capsule to the pram to the changing table and back.

It also helps to ease shoulder soreness and tight muscles caused by nonstop feeding in the early days. It can reduce muscle tension to more readily deal with the demands of a newborn.

Women’s Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a broad and diversified modality in which no two therapists use the same techniques. Depending on your symptoms, treatments such as myofascial release, hot and cold stones, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage may be incorporated.
