or as long as I can remember, I've always been one to participate in anything where I was able to run around and move and have always been keen to give anything a go! I've never lost this passion and don't plan to anytime soon.
Growing up I played numerous sports, competed in triathlons, competitive swimming and callisthenics. Heavily influenced by my dad.
As I got older I've kept up with this active lifestyle trying all sorts of different training styles where I've grown a bit of a passion for yoga along side with strength based training.
Something I strongly believe in, and incorporate into lots of my training is being mobile and doing mobility exercises. I feel its something so many of us have lost, and need to bring back into practise because there is just SO many benefits from it. One being you reduce your risk of injury whilst being able to perform exercises with more power and efficiency and therefore, getting the full benefit from the exercise.
Recently graduated from the Australian Institute of Fitness gaining my Certificate 4 in Fitness. During my time there I was also awarded the 'energiser' by my classmates.
Further training includes:
- First Aid
- Zulu Trainer Level 1
- Club Weightlifting/Sports Power Coach Level 1 (practical component only)
- Kettlebells & Suspension Ropes
