About Caroline Dowling
Caroline has had over twenty-five years of experience as a psychologist, having worked in both the public and private sectors in Queensland and New South Wales.
Having initially worked for many years with children and families through community agencies, mental health units, and the Department of Families, she has a sound understanding of childhood trauma and family difficulties that can sometimes lead to difficulties in functioning and relating in adulthood. She has assisted many adults to overcome such difficulties through psychotherapy and counselling over the course of her career.
Caroline has extensive experience in general adult counselling obtained through community agencies, hospitals, employee assistance services, workplace rehabilitation agencies and her private practice, and is skilled in the treatment of adults affected by a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, trauma, injury, relationship difficulties and difficulties in the workplace. She has run a successful private practice for the past seven years.
Caroline draws from training in a range of therapeutic frameworks and techniques. Her approach is client-centred, non-judgmental, holistic and empowering.

Initial and standard consultation fees are $125 per hour.
Credit card, EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities are available. Payment is expected at the time of consultation.
