Bookings are available as usual from Monday to Saturday with Monica until late January 2025 (date TBA). Matt is available on Saturdays only. From February 2025, both Matt and Monica will be available only on Saturdays.

About Monica Gallacher:
I am passionate about remedial massage and what it can achieve for you, my client. I have over 19 years of experience in the massage industry. I provide professional massage treatments unique to your needs and beneficial in aiding relief from muscular and soft tissue ailments.
I have a strong focus on preventative health care and comprehensive experience in injury management, rehabilitation and elite sports massage.
My massage practice has led me to continue further study in understanding the way our bodies experience pain. I am interested in non-invasive, non-pharmacological pain management. I also have extensive experience working with clients with neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and stroke rehabilitation.
I started martial arts training in 1990 and gained Nidan (second level black belt) in Aikido (Kenkyukai, ACT), (a Japanese martial art), Nidan in Jodo (Japanese staff) and Shodan (first level black belt) in Iaido (Japanese sword) (Australian Kendo Renmei, ACT). I enjoy High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), swimming, cycling, bushwalking, gardening, playing classical guitar, photography, art making and mindfulness.

About Matthew Robertson:
I have a passion for physical movement and understanding the nuances of the body. I am passionate about evidence-based practice and the latest research in science. I apply this knowledge and skill to assist my clients in achieving the best results possible from their massage sessions.
My areas of specialisation in remedial massage include neck, shoulder and lumbar/lower back pain. I also specialise in sports massage for cyclists, runners, triathletes and martial arts practitioners.
I have been an accredited instructor and Nidan (second level black belt) in Aikido (Kenkyukai, Moruya NSW) and Jujutsu (International Jujutsu Institute, Moruya, NSW) (Japanese martial arts). I enjoy High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), nature photography, gardening, cycling, bushwalking, and listening to science and health science podcasts.
