Remedial Massage treats soft body tissue such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and facia aimed at specific health problems and is based on treatment principles combined withspecific techniques to treat the presenting complaint and underlying pattern. Deep tissue massage is part of therapeutic massage treatments.
Deep tissue and Lymph massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the
Connective tissue or fascia. It focuses on the muscles well below the surface and is often recommended for clients who experience consistent pain or are involved in heavy physical activities in their work or sporting life. Deep tissue massage can cause some initial pain, but within a day or so the initial concerns will be found to have melted away.
Relief of Sciatic Pain Sciatica nerve pain results from irritation of the sciatic nerve. It is typically felt from the lower back, down below the knee. The sciatic nerve begins in the lumbar spinal cord in the lower back and extends through the buttock area to send nerve endings down the leg.

Aside from a pinched nerve, irritation of the nerve from adjacent bone, tumours, muscle, internal bleeding, infections, injury are other causes, including irritation of the sciatic nerve during pregnancy.
Cupping Therapy is an ancient Chinese treatment for preventing and treating diseases, but is applied across Europe and the Mediterranean as well. It uses a cup to create a vacuum, either by burning or suction. It is another effective form of releasing blockages at specific meridian points throughout the body. Cupping can affect the body deep into the tissue, causing it to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages, activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries and activate the skin. It can assist to clear stretch marks and also improve the appearance of varicose veins.
Effective cupping will leave marks on your skin for a couple of days, but these will disappear quickly. Although these may have the appearance of a bruise, they do not cause pain.
Reflexology is a form of massage in which pressure is applied to certain parts of the feet and hands in order to promote relaxation and healing elsewhere in the body.
It is based on the belief that there are a series of meridian lines throughout the body which pass through the various organs of the body and are connected through the nervous system to the ears, hands and feet. Stimulating specific reflex points in the feet aims to bring relief to poorly functioning areas of the body.
