Strength & Resistance
Strength training is a type of physical exercise specialising in the use of resistance to induce muscular contraction which builds the strength, anerobic endurance, and durability of skeletal muscles. Our groups perform a mix true of body weight and machine resistance exercise to optimize the weight loss process. At Cloud 9, our small group sessions are limited to 4 people for each 30 minute session.
Pilates Strength
Pilates is a system of physical conditioning involving low impact exercises and stretches designed to strengthen your core muscles. This group is highly recommended for those who are starting your 8 week challenge and are new to strength training.
When starting the Cloud 9 program, it will be recommended to begin your training with the Pilates method to ensure you have the core strength to start your journey toward your new body and life.
Yoga Style
Yoga is an ancient art based on harmonizing system of developemtn for the body, mind and spirit. Our Cloud 9 style of Yoga is less spiritual while still using some of the familiar poses we all know and love. We perform a system of exercises for mental and physical health. This style of exercise teaches a person to experience inner peace by controlling the body and mind.
High Intensity Interval Training
Hi Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a popular and effective way to make sure you burn more fat during a cardiovascular style workout. It is designed to increase the level of intensity worked for shorter bursts coupled with intervals of rest. This style of training is essential for fat reduction.
CLOUD 9 HIIT groups will consist of maximum 6 people and run for 30 minute time slots. Booking is essential through our Cloud 9 App available on smart phone and android.
Stretch & Flexibility
Our stretch groups are simply relaxing. We simply work through the muscle groups to improve joint range of motion, improve circulation and relieve stress. Stretching helps condition the muscles and joints, thus helping to prevent injuries and reduce recovery time. Stretching also prevents muscles and joints from seizing up and improves elasticity, allowing better posture and technique.

Kerry has achieved a phenomenal amount of success in her 7+ years in the fitness/weight loss industry, including publishing her own book ‘Enough is Enough – I Want My Body Back’. She was Jetts Personal Trainer of the Year Finalist 2013 & 2014 has Cert 4 Weight Management as well as Cert 3 & 4 Personal Trainer. But qualifications aside it’s her drive, compassion and motivation that has made her the most essential coach Cloud 9 could hope for. Ask her clients – Kerry is an inspiration.

Kerry measures success by results – and boy her results are impressive, her ability to turn lives around by focusing on simple nutrition and exercise is without question. There are no diet’s in Kerry’s arsenal and you won’t go hungry! Simple, honest, wholesome food is her mantra. She has a host of recipes and ideas to help her clients achieve amazing results with as little sacrifice as possible. You don’t even have to give up chocolate!
Maria Potbury
Hi there my name is Maria, a little bit about myself I have always been physically active and love anything to do with health, fitness and increased wellbeing. I have two wonderful boys, so the juggling act of motherhood along with work and lifestyle is something I can relate to, most importantly I also understand the importance of looking after yourself as well.
For the past 10 years I have been actively involved in many half marathons and ladies’ triathlons. What I enjoy most is being involved in all aspects of my children’s sports.
I specialize in the functional style of training, being able to use the lower and upper body all at the same time and still emphazing on core stability and strength. It is fun, fast and effective style of workout and most importantly prepares our bodies for various forms of activities in our daily lives.
I believe I can help and motivate people to be a better version of themselves. In my opinion exercise is one of the big key factors to feeling happy and healthy. If you are ready for a challenge and want to make a change in your lifestyle, there is nothing that can stop you from becoming a fitter and stronger you.

More About Kellie
Kellie’s qualifications are Certificate III in Fitness , Certificate IV in Fitness and Master Trainer Level 1, Bootcamp & Outdoor Group Fitness Instructor. Successfully running her own Personal Training business in Sydney since 2011. However arguably her greatest achievement to date was losing over 50 kilos whilst competing in Channel 10’s ‘The Biggest Loser’ Kellie is proof that it can be done and now helps others achieve their goals.

It’s been a productive few years since Kellie achieved such amazing results on the show. She has trained and become a qualified personal trainer and has helped many other people with her inspirational weight loss. Kerry-Ann Westcott has been working in the Pilates and Fitness industry for the last 8 years as a Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She completed her Personal Training, Group Fitness and Pilates Mat work Qualification through an institute in South Africa and Cert III and Cert IV through Fitlink in Australia. Kerry recently redid her Pilates Matwork and Reformer qualifications through Studio Pilates.
Kerry has a passion for helping her participants achieve their personal fitness goals on a daily basis, as well as improving their life energy, vitality, posture and overall wellbeing. She believes that the only machine you really need to know how to use is the one you already possess: YOUR BODY
Yoga & Pilates
Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline which originated in India. At Cloud 9 we believe that these are the three key controls that will help you achieve your goal. Our open minded approach to weight loss has room for Yoga, Pilates, Fitness and Nutrition, moreover we believe they are crucial to sustained, consistent weight loss.
