I am a Counsellor, Coach and Psychotherapist. I am not a practicing psychologist. The main difference is that I work with people on their life problems and issues. Psychologists assist with mental health problems and look at a client from a more healthcare and medical model. I perceive my counselling and psychotherapy as being a more holistic and heartfelt approach to life.

Rapport means a great deal in counselling and the helping professions. I offer warmth, compassion, care and life experience. I am not somebody who has just had life experience out of a book.

Generally, the aim of counselling is to develop insight. It empowers people with their life choices. The counselling offered by me is a low cost, professional counselling service for a large range of difficulties or problems. All counselling with me takes place in a supportive, compassionate and non-threatening environment.
