What is Naturopathy

Natural Therapy focuses on the treatment of the whole person encompassing physical, mental, lifestyle and attitudinal aspects of health rather than sickness.

At Butlin Naturopathic Clinic our consulting Naturopath listens carefully to the health concerns of clients and discuss detailed ways of health improvement.

These include natural methods of diet correction, nutrition information together with natural remedies such as vitamin and mineral supplements, herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, and remedial massage are utilised, Iris analysis is an important part of our approach, as well as massage, reflexology and advice on prevention of musculoskeletal injuries, all being included with each appointment.

Our practitioner is professionally qualified and accredited with the ANTA Associations and  has completed government recognised courses.

We perceive our role as complementary to that of medical practitioners, and our clients are encouraged to seek the opinion of their GP, especially in the times of acute health crisis. Referrals from GPs to our clinic have been established for a long time now and we all look forward to improving clients general health so that reliance on drug medication can he reduced or withdrawn.


Health Benefit Funds

These Health Benefit Funds (and others) were allowed for many years, decades, to give rebates for consultations &. associated treatments provided by accredited Naturopaths.

Alas, pre-Covid the Health Dept. changed the law and allowed Private Health Funds to stop covering Naturopaths. It is time to contact your Health Fund and ask the questions necessary to influence a reversal of this Govn ruling.  Thank you.

Clinic Location

3 kms North of Ocean Reef Road lights on Wanneroo Road. 2 minutes drive from Wanneroo Shops & Civic Centre & 10 mins drive from Joondalup, We are opposite the Wanneroo Showground, corner of Noonan Drive and Leach Road. Bus routes are 346 from Perth, and 468 from Whitfords and Joondalup. Ample parking available behand the house.

Charges

Consultation charges are kept as low as possible with Pensioner & Student concession given. This clinic runs on a cash and EFTPOS only basis as this saves money and is reflected in our fees schedule.
