LYMPHATIC MASSAGE & COMPLEX LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

I work primarily in lymphatic massage and have a specialty in detoxing using infra red sauna and massage for improved health and well being. My other area is lymphatic massage pre and post breast surgery for mastectomies and lymph node removal, and pre and post breast reduction and augmentation to stimulate lymphatic flow and healing.

What Is a Lyphatic Massage?

Lymphatic Massage is used as a healing modality and can improve health and well-being. It is a very gentle form of massage, which may or may not include the use of essential oils or a pure carrier oil.

How Does It Work?

As the name suggests, Lymphatic Massage can be used on the Lymphatic system, assisting in carrying away toxic waste and matter, from the tissues and organs. It helps the body to refresh and rejuvenate. Lymphatic massage may also be used to refresh and rejuvenate the tissues and enhance cell nourishment.

Lymphatic massage can be combined with other forms of body work - including reflexology, aromatherapy or energetic therapies.

Conditions That Can Be Treated

Disorders, such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Cancer, may all be improved with the application of Lymphatic Massage. Lymphatic Massage often provides a sense of well-being for sufferers of these debilitating illnesses.

Lymphatic Massage can also assist in improving circulation and lessen any muscle and bone pain experienced by the sufferer. It is an exquisitely beautiful and gentle treatment and may be combined with other therapies, to provide an increased sense of well-being.

What Happens During a Treatment?

Excess fluids sitting in the tissues are removed, especially after a period of illness or general ill health. Lymphatic Massage may help alleviate the pain created by the toxic build up and subsequent pressure on the underlying nerves.

COMPLEX LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

What is Complex Lymphatic Massage & How Does It Work?

Complex Lymphatic Massage is a specific form of massage provided for primary or secondary Lymphoedema (swelling and toxic fluid build up in the lymphatic layers of the tissues; often with accompanying severe pain and restriction of movement).

There are two kinds of Lymphoedema: primary lymphoedema, whereby one is born with and deficient lymphatic system, and secondary lymphoedema, which follows surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment.

Providing complex lymphatic massage, prior to the above treatments - especially surgery - can reduce the risk of swelling in the post operative phase. It may be provided alone or with essential oils, depending upon circumstances.

Australian Bush Flow Essences, Himalayan Flower Essences, Ear Candling, Foot Patching and Detoxification treatments are also used according to physical, emotional and the spiritual needs of our clients.
