BAA Membership
Association members must meet industry best practices as trained practitioners of the Bowen Technique.
Members of the Association are divided into categories according to their training qualifications.
Full Member
Members who qualify for this membership level must have a:
- Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy
- First Aid Certification - HLTAID003
- Professional indemnity insurance in effect
Accredited Member
This level of membership is open to members who have a:
- Diploma in Bowen Therapy
- First Aid Certification - HLTAID003
- Professional indemnity insurance in effect
International Member
The following qualifications are required for this level of membership:
- International Certificate in Bowen Therapy issued by Bowen Training Australia
- Minimum First Aid Certificate required by law in your country of practice
- Full professional indemnity insurance
Student Member
Students currently enrolled in courses approved by Bowen Training Australia are eligible to join this class of membership.
Fellow Member
An individual who has significantly contributed to the ideals of the Bowen Association of Australia in terms of time and effort.
Honorary Life Member
Members of this level have contributed significantly to the Bowen Association of Australia and Bowen Therapy over a lengthy period of time.
Companion Member
Bowen Association Australia is therefore open to anyone who supports or is interested in the aims and philosophies of the association without the requirement to be fully qualified.
Full Member - Bowtech for Animals
A person who qualifies for this membership must have:
- A Professional award in a recognised modality of Bowtech for Animals
- First Aid Certification - HLTAID003
- A current full professional indemnity policy for the modality
Animal Member
Members of this class of membership must have the following qualifications:
- Certificate in Animal BowenCare issued by Bowen Training Australia
- First Aid Certification - HLTAID003
- A current full professional indemnity policy for the modality
