What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a chiropractic-based therapy that began in the 1960s. The research was first launched in the 1970s when chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart found that muscle tests can be used to collate body details.
He pointed out that the related organ connection exists in each major muscle. The Chinese meridian and acupressure method developed to implement his principle.
Kinesiology recognises the forces that suppress the inner natural resources of the body and allows the organism to attain existence.
For a broad range of conditions, kinesiology is used, such as:
- Allergies
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Digestive problems
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Pain
- Stress
The human nervous system is programmed to evolve and autoregulate to shift. The muscle shows pressure in the central nervous system if we are unable to adjust performance. Specific muscle movements can be measured by kinesiologists utilising muscle monitoring techniques.
Kinesiology studies the muscles in order to see which can and can not stay firm when certain pressures in the body are enabled. This information is used by kinesiologists to see where your physical and life imbalances exist.
Kinesiologists’ Techniques
The goal is to stabilise the body in every kinesiology session. This will be addressed in consultation with you as we attempt to identify those that might also be out of control during your existence.
I use the following tools and techniques:
- Affirmations
- Bush, Bach and Desert Flower Essences
- Essential oils
- Holding acupressure points
- Holding Neuro-Lymphatic and Neuro-Vascular reflex points
- Tuning Forks (sound waves, that correspond with a meridian/organ)
- Visualization
The best thing about kinesiology is that all this knowledge can be removed from the body and changed so that the body will repair itself.
Session Requirement
Based on what you want to focus on, 1-3 sessions are suggested. Certain problems may take a little longer to work on, particularly if you've had them for years. Some clients come in for a 'tune up’ once every 6 weeks when they feel out of control or stressed.
