You're pregnant, firstly, congratulations on such an exciting time in your life! To celebrate, come and experience a pregnancy massage. The benefits of pregnancy massage include: mother-baby connection, a reduction in oedema/swelling, an improvement in sleep patterns, stabilisation of blood pressure, reduced anxiety and an improvement in back, shoulder, neck and joint pain associated with pregnancy. Most importantly it's an opportunity to relax. Enjoy some quiet time or just talk pregnancy, labour and birth with me (I'm a midwife, I love that talk). Massages will be attended in the side lying position as this has been proven to be safest and most effective. Essential oils will be used and an abdominal support pillow for added comfort.
Please Note: should any part of your pregnancy not be considered normal or you're in a high risk category, medical clearance will be required prior to Pregnancy Massage.
