Naturopathy - take charge of your health
Naturopathy is a complementary health care system which focuses on using natural remedies to re-establish the bodys ability to heal and maintain itself. It looks at the body as a whole and examines a wide range of causes for ill-health. Every patient is treated and respected as an individual and receives a health-care plan specific to them.
The role of the Naturopath is to recognise and remove barriers to the healing process. So, a Naturopath will:
- Treat the underlying cause of illness not just symptoms;
- Treat the whole patient;
- Educate patients about their illness and how to care for themselves; and
- Develop strategies to maintain good health.
Belinda follows a scientific approach to healing and is continually expanding and updating her knowledge through evidence from clinical research, seminars and peer-reviewed trials. Belinda works alongside many health practitioners such as GPs, specialists, psychologists, chiropractors and osteopaths.

Fertility Management
Some couples have difficulty with conception and/or they conceive and experience miscarriage. Many are then told they have 'unexplained infertility' where this is often a case of sub-fertility.
Problems usually arise from a combination of genetic, environmental, inflammatory and immune components. There may be specific problems such as: poor sperm count and health, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid issues, menstrual irregularity and auto-immunity. Belinda is experienced in treating male and female reproductive health problems.
After investigating and treating underlying health problems, changing diet and lifestyle and implementing appropriate nutritional supplementation, many couples achieve their dream of a healthy full-term pregnancy. In addition to pre and post-conception care, Belinda also provides IVF support for those couples requiring medical intervention.
During your initial fertility consultation, Belinda will examine each partner's health history, order appropriate blood and semen analysis, explain how to chart the basal body temperature and cervical mucus, prescribe a reproductive health diet and prescribe individual herbal medicines and nutritional supplements to improve the fertility of both partners.
