Although Massage therapy is known to be an effective method for muscle pain relief, Remedial Bowen Therapy can provide even more benefits with its gentle approach. Various techniques under the umbrella of remedial massage are applied to each individual case. 

Irene, the Wellness Catalyst at Beenleigh Bowen Clinic, successfully combines a variety of techniques, including, but not limited to, Remedial Bowen Therapy, Remedial Massage, Myofascial release, Sound and Vibration, cranial sacral Release technique, AMT, Emmett, Applied Kinesiology, Biochemistry—tissue Salts, Aroma, and Light, to achieve optimal results for her clients.

The tactile part of the treatment primarily focuses on the body's connective tissue and fascia, which provide insulation, support and protection of the body's delicate nerves, blood vessels, and fluids.                                                                                                                                                                 Unfortunately, very often, due to trauma, repetitive motion, inflammation, and poor posture, the fascia can become solidified, gel-like, and shorter, leading to tightness, tension and eventually pain, wear and tear that very often down the track, leading to the necessity of the replacement of joints.

Myofascial adhesions typically are not detectable on usual tests such as X-rays, MRI, CAT scans, etc. That's why you are told that there is nothing wrong with you even though you are in pain.
