Puppy Training Classes

Here at Balmain Village Veterinary Clinic, we help ensure that your new puppy is well-adjusted and not frightened of other people and animals by helping train him or her to socialise early in life.

First, we help you make sure that your puppy is used to your family and any other family pets. Then, we can start introducing him or her to your neighbours, friends, and other family members along with their pets. We do this as long as they are healthy AND fully vaccinated.

Together, we can then start teaching your puppy simple commands like “sit” and “come”. We can help your puppy get used to being called by name. We will help your puppy get accustomed to wearing a collar and walking on a lead. 

The key to training your puppy is being consistent and patient. You should reward your puppy with praise and occasionally with food (we recommend Vet's Best Rewards). After that, you can join our Puppy Pre-School class!

Balmain Cat Hotel

We at Balmain Village Veterinary Clinic have opened our very own cat hotel. Find our purpose-built accommodation that will be “purr-fect” for your furry friend. Our over 15 years of experience in the animal care industry will prove that we know what are doing. Our cat hotel services include:

• “Very Important Cat” (VIC) Suite with three levels – one relaxing hammock and two solid shelves
