Kinesiology

What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is an holistic approach to long lasting health and vitality. Discovered and developed over the past 110 years, kinesiology has become a sophisticated healing modality incorporating Western Physiological Healing Science with Ancient Eastern Energetic Healing Sciences.

Kinesiology is gentle and can address a wide range of physical, nutritional, emotional, mental and spiritual issues. Results can be felt immediately.

Our bodies are amazing! They retain the memory of knowledge and intelligence about how to heal. A kinesiologist is a trained facilitator helping us to release the stresses inappropriately retained that can prevent healing, remember our health and regain vibrant health.

Kinesiology utilises the universal energy language of the body to directly communicate with the physical, cellular, mental and emotional systems of the body via gentle muscle monitoring. The muscle responses from the client directs the kinesiologist to the cause of the client’s issue and also to the correction(s) required in order to resolve the issue. To enable this communication, it’s important to be well hydrated.

Correction techniques used to help the body regain health include:

  • Meridian and acupoint stimulation
  • Acupressure (skin is not pierced)
  • Muscle stimulation
  • Sound
  • Emotional stress release
  • Flower essences and vibrational remedies
  • Specific exercises such as holding stress points, reading affirmations.

Kinesiology can help you improve all aspects of life...

...from day to day living to your performance in education, sport, business, finance, relationships...

  • Achieving and goal setting
  • Acute pain
  • Allergies
  • Anxiety
  • Brain integration
  • Chronic conditions and pain
  • Digestive disturbances
  • Disorders and disease
  • Eating disorders
  • Exhaustion
  • Fears and phobias
  • Fight and Flight
  • Hormonal issues
  • Learning difficulties and memory
  • Low energy
  • Money issues
  • Muscular pain & sporting injuries
  • PTSD
  • Sleeping difficulties
  • Stress
  • Weight loss / gain and more.

The treatment

  • It's important to be hydrated.
  • That means drinking plenty of water.
  • Apart from shoes you will remain fully clothed for a kinesiology session.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Session times are typically 2.5 hours - 3.5 hours.
  • Cost: $140 for the first hour and $60 per hour thereafter. Since for many clients, their energy has retained many levels of stress, it can take some time to unravel and resolve these levels. It is best done at the time the energy reveals these. The subconscious is very clever and knows exactly how and when the body is ready to deal with a level of stress. It's a very gentle and efficient process :-).

Testimonials

"Ive lived with MS for many years. For the past twelve years I have had fortnightly deep tissue massages. Last year I added in a monthly kinesiology session. I always feel great afterward. The kinesiology has relieved much of the stress and anxiety. I used to feel with my condition." Gerry, Armadale

"Hey Judith! How are you? It's been a few months since I left Perth, but I just wanted to say hello and let you know how well things are going my end! I've now moved to Cape Town, after spending a few months with my family in Port Elizabeth. I have found a job as a PT, have a very cool little apartment in a funky part of town and have settled back into the SA way of life without a hitch! Now I just need to find a kinesiologist as gifted as you and I'll be set. Thank you for all your help and guidance in the lead up to my move. I think you played a big role in the smooth transition it has been and I wanted you to know how much I valued your input and assistance. You truly have a very special gift! I hope you aren't melting in the Perth heat!" Thanks again, much love, Robyn x

I had a ganglion cyst on my big toe and anti-inflamatories didn’t help. Soon after I started having regular remedial massage and kinesiology sessions, it began to subside. The ganglion cyst has now disappeared and not returned. I then went on to have regular kinesiology sessions for my diverticulitis - with recommended dietary changes as well my large intestine has healed and is now clear. I feel the best I have in adult life, and enjoy life more. Sue, Kelmscott
