Australian Reiki Connection(ARC)

ARC Membership Categories

Membership in the ARC is available in three categories and renewed annually on 31st August with an invoice sent out.

Each new application requires a $40 joining fee in addition to the annual membership fee.

For former members who wish to reactivate their membership or change their membership category, you may call the ARC office at 0439 366 185 for details.

Professional Reiki Treatment Practitioner Member, Non Teaching

This membership category is for:

• Professionals attuned to the Usui System of Reiki Level II/Okuden (minimum)
• Level IIIA/Master Practitioner
• Level Master Teacher/Shinpiden (offering Reiki treatments to the public but doesn’t teach Reiki to the public)

Requirements for this category: 

• Hands-on training in the Usui Reiki System and received attunements in the presence of their Reiki teacher
• Training received from a Reiki teacher who meets the ARC Criteria for Teaching the USUI Reiki System amended/revised 2015
• Certified copy of your attunement certificates
• Copy of the “Teaching Lineage” directly related to the attunements should be provided
• Active status Australian Business Number (ABN) at the minimum entity type

Professional Reiki Teacher

This membership category is for:

• Reiki Teachers attuned to the Usui Reiki System Level Master Teacher/Shinpiden 
• Those who teach Usui Reiki System - Level I/Shoden and/or Level II/Okuden and/or Level IIIA/Master Practitioner and/or Level Master Teacher/Shinpiden 
• Those who may or may not offer Reiki Treatments to the Public for payment

Requirements for this category: 

• Hands-on training in the Usui Reiki System and received attunements in the presence of their Reiki teacher
• Training received from a Reiki teacher who meets the ARC Criteria for Teaching the USUI Reiki System amended/revised 2015
• Certified copy of attunement certifications, certified on the front/face of the document
• Copy of the “Teaching Lineage” directly related to the attunement certifications
• Copy of the certificate of currency of insurance
• First Aid training HLTAID011 
• Active status Australian Business Number (ABN) at the minimum entity type

Non-Professional Member

This category facilitates non-professional members’ integration and connection with the Reiki community and ARC. Members may apply for this category if they:  

• Don’t intend to provide Reiki treatments to the general public in a professional capacity. 
• Only using Reiki for treating self, family, friends, plants and animals. 
• Have been attuned to the Usui System of Reiki Level I/Shoden (minimum); Level II/Okuden; Level Master Teacher/Shinpiden
• Don’t have insurance or first aid certification to treat the public in a professional capacity as prescribed by the code-regulation regime
